    Ghana: 10 people perish in gory road crash

    About 10 persons have been confirmed dead in a gory accident that occurred early on Wednesday on the Suhum-Nsawam highway, APA has learnt.

    The accident, which occurred around 5 a.m., left many others injured.

    According to reports, two Yutong buses, one from Techiman to Accra and the other from the opposite direction collided head-on at Asuboi near Suhum, resulting in the casualties.

    Joy News reports that as of 8 a.m. the police and fire service personnel were at the scene to rescue and retrieve bodies from the wrecked buses.

    An official statement on the accident is still being expected from the police.
