The French Development Agency’s (FDA) Chief executive, Rémy Rioux has said his institution is ready to support Senegal’s next Priority Action Plan (PAP) II, the Senegalese Ministry of Economy, Finance and Planning told APA on Thursday.

Mr. Rioux was speaking after talks with the Senegal’s Economy, Finance and Planning minister, Amadou Ba in Paris on Wednesday.

Ba is visiting the French capital within the framework of preparation of the Consultative Group for PAP II financing (2019-2023) of the Senegal Emerging Plan (PSE) scheduled for December 17 and 18, 2018.

The document also points out that Franco-Senegalese economic and financial cooperation resulted, in the first phase of the PAP (2014-2018) and PSE, in the concretization of CFA1 000 billion of France's financial commitments to the previous consultative group, where French cooperation had committed CFA282 billion with a 355 percent achievement rate.
